SPONSOR A HOME

Through the generosity of our sponsors, donors and supporters, Habitat for Humanity of Bay County has been able to provide decent and affordable housing opportunities for over 100 families in Bay County Florida.

HOME SPONSORS

Individuals, businesses, civic organizations and faith congregations can make a significant commitment to affordable housing in the community by sponsoring a home. A Home Sponsorship provides funding for the construction materials needed to build a new home. Home Sponsorship offers many benefits like recognition of your commitment to community and the opportunity for hands-on volunteer work to build the home. Home sponsorship also offers the opportunity for positive team-building experiences for businesses and civic organizations. Faith congregations benefit from the opportunity to put their faith into action.

COMMUNITY CONTRIBUTION TAX CREDIT PROGRAM

The Community Contribution Tax Credit Program (CCTCP) was created by the State of Florida to encourage businesses to help provide affordable housing in their communities and promote economic development. Donations are made to certified non-profit charitable organizations that provide affordable housing, which include Habitat for Humanity of Bay County. The program provides an incentive of a state tax credit or state sales tax refund to type “C” corporations that do business in Florida, earns more than $5,000 annually and pays one or more of several taxes.

For more information about the CCTCP, please contact the Habitat office by calling (850) 784-9975 or emailing ed@bayhabitat.org
